The Sindh High Court (SHC) expressed anger over the absence of the missing person and directed the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), Provincial Affairs Commission and police to expedite the probe. The case was heard by a two-member panel headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto.

Relatives of the missing persons including Riyasat Ullah, Wajid Hussain, M. Yaseen, Asif Khan, Kamran, Umar Zaman and others wept in court.
