
Bulletproof imports: Salman Khan amps up security

Bollywood actor Salman Khan received a death threat from gangster Lawrence Bishop prompting the actor to beef up security. Bishop sent Khan an email apologizing to his group, threatening further repercussions.
Bishop later openly threatened Khan in an interview, stating that he would kill the actor, much like Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Following the threat, the actor’s personal assistant received a threatening email from Bishop’s adviser, leading to heightened security around Khan’s residence.
To further enhance his security, Salman Khan has introduced a new bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV, ahead of its official launch in India, according to Pink villa. The new car offers high levels of protection with B6 or B7 high levels of protection. The B6 protects high-powered artillery with a 41-mm thick sight, while the B7 protects armor-piercing bullets with a 78-mm thick sight.
This is not the first time the actor has made security improvements. Last year, he switched to a Toyota Land Cruiser LC200, which was also upgraded with bulletproof glass. A close friend of the actress lodged a complaint with the Bandar Police regarding death threats.
