As Regional Finals begin in July, teams will make a final push for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 places.

As the T20 World Cup 2024 Qualification Pathway nears its conclusion, Scotland and PNG will host the Europe and East Asia Pacific (EAP) Regional Finals, respectively, in July.

The Pathway tournaments began in 2022, but the Regional Finals will be the last chance for teams to secure tickets for the headline T20 event next year in the Caribbean Islands and the United States, which will include 20 teams.

The Europe Regional Final will be place in Scotland from July 20-28, and will include the hosts as well as Austria, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Jersey. Two teams will be able to reserve their seats for the 2024 T20 World Cup.

The EAP Regional Final will be held from July 21 to July 29, with Japan, the Philippines, Vanuatu, and hosts PNG competing for a single slot.

The Americas and Africa will hold their Regional Finals later this year in September-October and November-December, respectively, while the hosts and dates for the Asia Regional Final will be announced later.

Toby Bailey, Interim Head of Performance at Cricket Scotland, stated, “Hosting the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Europe Regional Final represents a fantastic opportunity for Cricket Scotland.” We are excited to host one of the largest European regional tournaments in history, and following a fantastic series against New Zealand last summer, we are excited to provide more world-class cricket to our fans here at home.
