Karan Johar shares glimpse of ‘special day’ at British
Karan Johar, who has worked as a director in the film industry for the past 25 years, shared a glimpse of his special day at the British Parliament where he received an award for his contribution to the entertainment industry. Karan took to his Instagram and shared two pictures of him receiving the award from one of the dignitaries in Parliament. He felt grateful to be honored with such a prestigious award.
He wrote: “Today was a special day! I am lucky and very grateful to be honored by Baroness Verma of Leicester in the British Parliament in London. “We celebrated 25 years of being a filmmaker in the film industry and also launched the trailer of #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani!”
She went on to write, “It’s one of those days where I pinch myself and realize that dreams do come true. Thank you all for the unconditional love you’ve shown me along the way. And I promise there will be more to come.” Meanwhile, Dharma Productions also shared the same pictures to pay tribute to their captain. He was also captioned with a touching caption that read: “It’s only going to be twice as big as the celebration!”
