MULTAN: Pakistani Luban Workshop celebrated its annual ‘Field Training Day’ on Tuesday at Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture, Multan (MNSUAM), where it maintains a specific field.

This place serves as the workshop’s base for agricultural machinery training abroad.

An international industry-academia-research-application platform for training in agricultural equipment is what the training programme, with its focus on the “Application and Promotion of Maize Harvesting Mechanisation Technology,” wants to build.

It will help local farmers advance the whole mechanisation of crop harvesting by exhibiting the possibilities of high-horsepower, high-performance, and intelligent Chinese agricultural machinery in grain harvesting and production.

Over 200 instructors and students from the pertinent agricultural universities in Pakistan, as well as administrators and technicians from the agricultural departments of Punjab, representatives of agricultural technology promotion organisations, and farmers and business owners, attended the training session at the training site where instructors from MNSUAM and experts from the Agricultural Mechanisation Research Institute in Punjab worked together to instruct and address questions.

The event was live-streamed by the China Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association (CAMDA), which drew several relevant Chinese businesses online.According to the event’s organiser, three cutting-edge concepts for global collaboration in vocational education and the union of business and education are on show.o increase efficiency, it offers a practical training method first. For the first time, the Chinese school-business cooperation units are taking part in beneficial practical training in Luban Workshop partner nations. To help the students learn the mechanised operation, the actual work of harvesting maize was employed in the training as a teaching resource.

Second, it creates a novel format for Chinese farm machinery’s abroad product displays. The self-propelled maize harvester, which was supplied by the school-business cooperation units and used for this training to exhibit China’s sophisticated and intelligent agricultural machinery technology, is the teaching tool.

Tianjin Modern Vocational Technology College (TMVTC), MNSUAM, Tianjin LIHO Group, and CAMDA co-sponsored the event.Kang Ning, the party secretary for the TMVTC, highlighted that the training will support Pakistan’s industrial transformation and upgradation as well as the mechanisation of its agriculture.additionally, it would promote agricultural machinery research and collaboration between China and Pakistan.
