Judiciary executive trying to

ISLAMABAD: REFERENCES: Despite the harsh political rhetoric, back-channel communication remains open between the judiciary and the executive to defuse tensions, which prevailed after the Supreme Court’s decision to hold elections in Punjab on May 14.
The federal government is also looking into PTI leaders’ willingness to initiate discussions on national issues, particularly on holding general elections. The government should not hesitate to talk to PTI on every issue, but the real issue is that it completely lacks confidence in party chief Imran Khan in his past of reneging on his commitments.
“Who will vouch for his [Imran’s] behavior in commenting on the prevailing political scenario, another leader said that there is serious apprehension in all sectors including judiciary, institutions, media etc. that whenever the PTI chief comes to power, he will target them.
“So Imran should come out and bring back that attitude,” he added. Sources told The Express Tribune that despite the SC verdict, the apex judiciary headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Ban dial still wanted a dialogue between political parties on the issue of elections.
At the start of the hearing, the CJP asked the political stakeholders to sit together to reach a Ban dial is one of those judges who have never initiated contempt proceedings against political leaders or journalists in their career.
He is therefore unlikely — following in the footsteps of former CJP Sahib Nasir and other top judges — to issue disparaging notes against PML-N leaders who accuse him of bias and the judge is pro-, legal experts agree that the election process was mismanaged and that is why the SC judges themselves are raising their voices against the judiciary’s allegations in this regard.
